Removing Wax from Fur
Whether it is a cat or a dog that you have, it is always important to look after their safety especially with regards to exposure to candles or candle warmers that may burn them. Should your pet experience such danger, you have to give it a warm bath first. Use a regular soap to warm the wax up. Be careful not use water that is too hot as your pet may suffer further. When the wax is already soft enough, keep your pet in warm water for a few more minutes, allowing your pet’s wound to be relieved. After the bath, wrap your pet with a towel to prevent it from scratching its wound. Use a fine-tooth comb to remove the wax slowly from your cat’s fur. Always be mindful to keep candles out of your pet’s reach to avoid candle burns from happening.
